Work smarter not harder

283A5851

Work smarter not harder this year here are the bad habits we all keep on doing … AVOID these

Hit the snooze button… (the day belongs to those who get up early)
Forgetting to sleep… (major thing here, sleep is so important and necessary,  try to get at least 8h a night)
Keep your phone on your bedside table… (stop doing this,  it makes you want to check it all the time and it’s unhealthy, the bright light will stop your brain from shutting down
Skip breakfast… (most important meal of the day even if it’s just a yogurt and a juice… have something)
Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today… (the risk is piling up or forgetting important things)
Checking email throughout the day… (set a time in the morning to check emails and respond to them otherwise you get distracted all day)
Sitting all day at your desk… (try to go for a little walk or do an outdoor project, at least fresh air and walking for 30min a day
Web browsing… (don’t start your day by being on Pinterest or you will be screwed for the rest of the day
Over planning… (with a baby on the way I am going to try to stay positive and not plan too much to avoid disappointment)
Under-planning …(that goes without saying some planning is necessary: to stay afloat, between a business, a baby and a house to look after it takes some planning) …
Taking too many meetings… (when I was in London I did way too much in a day so I am slowing down and only taking meetings and projects that means a lot to me)
Perfectionism … (Just do your best!)

In the end…a whole programme, cheer up!
